2022 Eric Talley Leadership Award Presented to Brandon Karr, Pearland Police Department, Texas

LAS VEGAS - The DRONERESPONDERS 2022 Eric Talley Leadership award for excellence and commitment to public safety drone operations was presented during the DRONERESPONDERS Summit at Commercial UAV Expo to Brandon Karr, Pearland Texas Police Officer and UAS Program Leader, for his extensive body of work to advance public safety UAS programs at the local, state and national levels.


The award is named after Boulder Police Officer and public safety remote pilot Eric Talley who was killed in the line of duty while responding to an active shooter incident in March 2021. Officer Talley and the Boulder Police Department were the inaugural recipient of the award at last year's DRONERESPONDERS Summit.
