AUVSI Launches New “green uas” Program

For your situational awareness.


What does this mean? This means that similar to the DoD Blue UAS Program, AUVSI is offering a similar program for commercial drones.


Does this mean that DJI drones can participate? The answer is no as this program which has been done in conjunction with DIU, the restrictions in the NDAA still remain.


What the "green UAS program" has the potential to do is to expand the choices of drones that meet security requirements and hopefully more quickly.
