As we are seeing movement in the Counter UAS area, first with the The Domestic Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems National Action Plan and now with Congressional legislation, DRONERESPONDERS is creating a National CUAS Working Group to stay abreast of changes, share information and to support the momentum. This will be chaired by D.J. Smith with the Virginia State Police. If interested, send an email to admin@droneresponders.org

I think the creation of a National CUAS Working Group is a smart move to keep communication flowing and ensure best practices evolve alongside emerging threats. From my perspective, collaboration like this reminds me of how communities form around shared challenges—even in unexpected spaces like Veck IO, where coordination and quick adaptation matter just as much. I appreciate how this effort brings together expertise and leadership to stay ahead in such a rapidly changing field.
