The Search and Rescue (SAR) Working Group is dedicated to advancing the role of drones in SAR operations by identifying best practices, sharing lessons learned, and influencing regulatory changes to support safer and more effective mission outcomes.
The SAR Working Group is committed to enhancing drone-assisted SAR capabilities through collaboration, research, and advocacy. Members work together to refine operational strategies, promote standardized procedures, and address policy challenges that impact SAR efforts.
This working group is new and will meet virtually, providing a platform for SAR professionals and organizations to exchange insights, discuss emerging technologies, and explore regulatory improvements.
