I'm from North Carolina
I work for the Gaston County Police Department. I've been there for about 8 years now. Currently assigned the to Investigations Division as a Crime Scene Specialist.
I am the assistant team leader for the Gaston County Police Drone Unit. I am a NIST proctor for both DroneResponders and APSA, and will hopefully be an instructor soon.
My Unit has assisted in multiple SAR events in our county and we love o training with other unit in our area. I'm excited to learn from you all!!!

It was great to do the NIST Proctor course with you. Level 4 and Level 5 were new for me. Level 5 was especially challenging, and fun too!

As some of you may be aware from my posts on LinkedIn, or maybe not, this year has been not only more responsive in the SAR Water Rescue space for drones, but also in actual rescues. This year, we already have three (3) confirmed rescues.
FDNY - two rescues - June 2 and July 25
Ocean County Sheriff - one rescue - July 17
Both agencies deployed Restube EFDs (emergency flotation devices)
- two kids, a girl, and an adult in distress. We look forward to hearing your user stories, as well as any questions that you may have on flotation deployment, or overall payload deployment.

Hey Everyone,
Following up here on our conversation yesterday in the AAM working group and have been doing some research on emergency response for eVTOL incidents. There's not a standard framework that I can find but I'm going to reach out to some more manufacturers to see what I can learn to share with the group. I did find out that Beta Technologies has an Emergency Response Guide for their CX300, which is what they just used to fly a transplant organ across multiple states including a stop in Chief Werner's own Charlottesville, VA. I'm attaching it here and hope it gives us a at least a starting point. I'll share more as I can.
