About the event
As we enter a new decade of unmanned vehicle systems, first responders around the world are embracing the notion of using the sky to help save lives and property. Unmanned aircraft systems are quickly evolving the way all types of public safety agencies and organizations operate. Yet there is still much to be discovered as this amazing new technology comes into the mainstream.
AUVSI has teamed up with AIRT, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, to produce the DRONERESPONDERS Global Public Safety UAS Summit and Major Cities Meeting, a hallmark event that will unite first responders, public safety, emergency services, and disaster response professionals from around the world this spring at XPONENTIAL 2020 in Boston.

This first-of-its-kind meeting will allow big cities from around the world to share information about the unique challenges facing the deployment of UAS in dense urban population centers, followed by an exclusive networking event at an off-site location.
Tuesday, May 5 kicks into high gear as the DRONERESPONDERS Public Safety UAS Summit opens to public safety professionals across all disciplines who are operating drones for good. This unique program will include fewer speaker panels and increased group interaction providing summit participants with an immersive learning environment from like-minded peers.
