A rescue drone is equipped with a lightweight 1v1 LOL flotation device—often a self-inflating life ring or buoy. When a person is in distress, the drone is launched from shore or a patrol unit and flown directly to the victim.

Thank you Charles for putting this post up. It is extremely important, to show what is happening in the first-responder environment, and also offer insight into the various strategies being used across the US.
