As drone technology continues to evolve, so do the opportunities and challenges facing public safety agencies, government organizations, and critical infrastructure stakeholders. Public Safety, State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial (SLTT), and government employees are invited to attend the 2nd Annual Countering the Threat: Drone Security Industry & SLTT Grant Forum on November 9, 2026, at the MGM Grand National Harbor in Maryland.

Hosted by the White House Task Force on the 2028 Summer Olympics, DRONERESPONDERS, and the Commercial Drone Alliance, this important forum will bring together leaders from government, industry, and the public safety community to discuss the rapidly evolving drone security landscape. Attendees will participate in discussions focused on emerging unmanned aircraft system (UAS) and counter-UAS (CUAS) threats, major event security planning, critical infrastructure protection, and strategies to strengthen SLTT capabilities through partnerships, technology, and grant opportunities.

The forum offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from policymakers, operational leaders, and industry experts who are helping shape the future of drone security in the United States. Participants will exchange lessons learned, explore innovative solutions, and build relationships that support more effective preparedness and response efforts.

As the nation prepares for the 2028 Summer Olympics and other large-scale events, collaboration between government, industry, and public safety stakeholders has never been more important. Join us to help advance the policies, partnerships, and capabilities needed to foster a safer, more secure, and resilient drone ecosystem.

Registration is free for qualified Public Safety, SLTT, and Government personnel. Private sector companies interested in exhibiting or sponsoring the event should note that exhibitor participation is limited and available by invitation only.

Don't miss this opportunity to connect with national leaders and contribute to the conversation shaping the future of UAS and CUAS operations across the United States.
