Virtual Fire/Rescue Drone Summit September 20, 0900 to 1100 EST

America’s fire/rescue and emergency services are the frontline to keep us safe every day. Many of their daily, complex, and challenging tasks could be improved with the implementation of technology solutions like drones. 

The Fire/Rescue Drone Summit brings together chief officers from leading fire and rescue departments across the country, along with industry-leading drone technologists, to present a wholistic look at the future of drones for firefighting, search and rescue, and emergency management.

This two-hour virtual event will cover leading-edge concepts through interactive panel discussions, bringing together a full picture of the challenges, opportunities, and solutions to support our nation’s first responders through drone technology.

A panel discussion with Fire Chiefs and state leaders will feature:

  • Chief Dan Munsey, Fire Chief, San Bernadino Fire Department

  • David Lane, Retired Deputy Chief Birmingham UK and UK Drone Program

  • Vic Misenheimer, Emergency Management Coordinator for Caldwell County, NC

  • Battalion Chief Scott Roseberry, Garland, Texas Fire & Rescue

  • Wes Powell, North Carolina Emergency Management Air Ops Coordinator/UAS Program Manager

A Drone Industry panel will bring perspective from industry leaders including:

  • Don Redmond, BRINC Drones

  • Vern Sallee, Axon Air

  • Fritz Reber, Skydio

  • Moderated by Chief (ret.) Charles Werner, Director/Founder, DRONERESPONDERS Public Safety Alliance
