Webinar This Wednesday - A Conversation with FAA’s Mike O’Shea on Public Safety UAS

DroneResponders and the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA) present a FREE Webinar “Public Safety-Press Relations Up in the Air: Using UAS for Newsgathering” which will be held this Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 4 pm EDT to discuss the latest updates to FAA Part 107 including training/testing, flights over people, night flights and remote ID. There will also be a discussion of the FAA Law Enforcement Assistance Program (LEAP) and how journalists, the news media and public safety agencies can find constructive ways to work together while helping to promote greater respect and understanding for the roles each plays in using UAS. Panelists will include Mike O’Shea of the FAA, Charles L. Werner (Emeritus-RET), Director, DRONERESPONDERS Public Safety Alliance and NPPA general counsel Mickey H. Osterreicher.
